Hand Constructed French Kneehole Desk. An abundance of quality craftsmanship and beautiful design details are achieved with this hand contructed solid hardwood French style kneehole writing desk with an embossed leather (with a delicate 24kt gold stenciled border) top. The embossed leather continues along each of its five drawer front panels. The middle top drawer's panel fold down to allow easy access to a computer keyboard. The left side drawer opens to reveal a suitable drawer file. The right side has two working drawers. The hand carved details are intricate and faithful to the 19th century design which this desk is inspired and styled by with scrolled carvings along the columns, acanthus leaf carving on cabrole legs and the classic turned rope border along the top's border. Hardwood mahogany in an antique brown finish.
