Is this bookcase an estate sale find? Or newly crafted recreations? Only you will know. Paying homage to Mission-era treasures (usually hidden away in the nooks and crannies of family homesteads), the hallmark Mission design elements are here. Natural materials (solid oak), unadorned lines, leaded glass door inserts, gently curved aprons and slatted sides. Just as important to the Mission design ethic are the old-fashioned details such as burnished hardware, rubbed uneven edges that enhance the aged feel of each piece, surface character knots and hand distressing. Included are one fixed shelf with two adjustable shelves. Available in natural oak stain finish with glaze highlights (as shown) or antiqued black finish.
